Position Summary
The Operations Supervisor will play a critical leadership role in overseeing daily manufacturing operations and ensuring production activities are aligned to support quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. This role will work closely with machining, production, inventory, maintenance, and leadership teams to optimize workflow, support employees, and improve operational performance throughout the facility.
The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing leadership experience, understands machining and production environments, and is capable of balancing production demands with quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing and shop floor operations
- Lead, mentor, and support machinists, CNC operators, and production personnel
- Monitor production schedules and prioritize workflow to meet customer deadlines
- Ensure all products meet company quality standards and manufacturing specifications
- Collaborate with production, engineering, maintenance, and inventory teams to resolve operational issues
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while enforcing company safety policies
- Monitor machine utilization, staffing, tooling, and operational efficiency
- Support employee training, development, coaching, and performance management
- Track operational metrics including efficiency, scrap, downtime, and on-time delivery
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and workflow efficiency
- Assist with inventory coordination and material availability to support production schedules
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
Qualifications Required
- 5+ years of experience in:
- Manufacturing operations
- CNC machining or production environments
- Production supervision or team leadership
- Strong understanding of machining operations, tooling, and manufacturing workflows
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer systems
- High school diploma or GED required
Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Experience in automotive, racing, machining, or manufacturing industries
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices
- Understanding of production scheduling, inventory coordination, and workflow management
- Technical certifications or advanced manufacturing training a plus

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
