Job Summary
The Order Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, collecting, and preparing products for shipment based on customer and operational requirements. This role plays an important part in ensuring orders are fulfilled efficiently and delivered on time while maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick products from designated inventory locations according to order requests.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product details to ensure order accuracy.
- Prepare selected items for packing and shipment.
- Organize completed orders in staging areas for processing and dispatch.
- Assist with inventory replenishment and stock organization.
- Report inventory discrepancies, damaged items, or shortages to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow warehouse procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and general warehouse duties as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
