Job Title: Student Transit Driver
Job Description
Mobile Solutions, LLC is seeking dependable and professional drivers with a valid Illinois School Bus Permit (SBP) to transport students safely to and from school. Drivers will use their own vehicle (2010 or newer, 4-door) to provide consistent and reliable transportation during the school year.
Important:
Only candidates who currently hold a valid SBP will be considered.
Do not apply if you do not already have an SBP.
Responsibilities:
- Transport students to and from school in your personal vehicle.
- Maintain punctuality — arriving on time for all morning and afternoon routes.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and professional transportation experience.
- Follow all traffic laws and Mobile Solutions policies.
- Use a driver app daily for route and trip reporting.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday during school year
- Morning: 7:00–9:00 AM
- Afternoon: 2:00–4:00 PM
- No weekends, holidays, or late evenings
- Summer school routes may be available
Pay:
- Starting at $35 per trip
- Pay is based on mileage per trip, not number of students
- Weekly pay via check or direct deposit
- Average $350–$1,000 per week depending on route assignments
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Illinois School Bus Permit (SBP)
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid Illinois driver’s license (3+ years)
- Vehicle must be 2010 or newer, 4 doors, and well maintained
- Proof of personal auto insurance
- Must own a smartphone with mobile data for app use
- Social Security Number required
- Professional, reliable, and safety-focused
