Wausau Canvas Co., Inc. seeks motivated individuals for our fabric products and awning departments. Candidates should have experience in fabrication, assembly, or metal fab.
Products: Industrial/custom canvas, military goods, residential/commercial and motorized awnings, shade structures, and marine covers.
Responsibilities:
* RF weld CNC-cut fabric and assemble products.
* Cut aluminum/steel parts and cover awning frames.
* Install/service awnings (awning dept).
* Assist across production as needed.
Requirements:
* Experience in fabrication, assembly, or metal fab.
* Proficient with hand/power tools and tape measures.
* Ability to read drawings and follow instructions.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Work from a ladder
* Lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a valid driver's license.
