We are rapidly expanding our footprint from high-end residential systems into commercial build-outs, tenant improvements, and local municipality infrastructure across the Atlanta metro area. We are looking for a hungry, connected B2B sales professional to weaponize our tech advantage and lock down commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
1. B2B Pipeline & Relationship Development
- Actively prospect, network with, and pitch local Atlanta General Contractors, commercial property managers, developers, and facility directors.
- Secure Voltline Atlanta on active "Preferred Subcontractor" lists for top-tier GCs operating in the metro area.
- Identify and monitor local government, county, and municipal public bidding boards (e.g., City of Atlanta Procurement, DOAS Georgia Marketplace) to identify lucrative public project RFPs.
2. Commercial Estimating & Proposal Delivery
- Review commercial blue prints, architectural schematics, and project specifications to perform digital material and labor takeoffs.
- Build highly accurate, professional commercial bids factoring in loaded labor burdens, material markups, permit logistics, and specialized equipment rentals.
- Leverage Voltline’s proprietary tech capabilities as a primary competitive advantage to win bids over legacy, old-school contractors.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of proven B2B sales or estimating experience specifically within the commercial construction trades (electrical contracting experience is highly preferred, but background in commercial HVAC, plumbing, or general contracting is acceptable).
- Network: An existing, active rolodex of relationships with General Contractors, estimators, or property managers in the Metro Atlanta area is a massive plus.
- Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and accurately interpret commercial construction drawings, electrical schedules, and technical project scopes.
- Tech-Driven Mindset: Must be highly proficient with digital takeoff software, CRM platforms, and enthusiastic about leveraging our proprietary software tools to present data-driven bids.
Pay: $77,741.23 - $93,623.85 per year
