Founded and run by multi-generational San Francisco natives, Moe Green’s is dedicated to delivering the ultimate cannabis experience. Since 2019, we have offered a diverse range of cannabis products, including pre-rolls, flower, edibles, beverages, topicals, and sublingual tinctures, all curated to meet our guests' needs and preferences. Additionally, our space provides a welcoming environment where you can consume any of our cannabis products, though we do not permit alcohol, tobacco, or outside substances.
Job Description
We’re hiring enthusiastic Cannabis Consultant/ Budtender for long-term role at Moe Green’s. Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions, handling cash, and providing excellent service. In our consumption lounge, you'll host, clear tables, build customer relationships, and offer product info and safe consumption guidance. Effective communication and listening skills are essential. Employees must remain substance-free during shifts, though onsite consumption is allowed for guests and off the clock purposes.
Classification- Hourly/Non-Exempt . Range of $18.67 Hourly in addition to daily cash tips and commission.
Reports to - General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager, Floor Managers
Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales and customer experience by maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment
- Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained
- Promote a work environment that is positive, customer service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures
- Maintain product knowledge
- Capable of using our POS system (Treez)
- Correct cash and card handling
- Welcome customers warmly, communicate clearly, and maintain a friendly demeanor.
- Accurate and timely transactions and intake procedures
- Daily organization and cleaning
- Greet people in lounge, bring them smoking devices, ensure they have a positive experience
- Other duties as assigned by the management team
Qualifications
- Must be the minimum age of 21 years old
- Must be on time and ready to work when scheduled
- Cannabis knowledge, hospitality, food service, or retail experience is preferred
- Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts and store location assignments
- Must be willing to have closing shifts (2pm-10pm)
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Professional, tidy appearance and good personal hygiene
- Standing for up to 8 hours.
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds
