We are seeking a Purchasing and Planning Specialist to support purchasing, inventory planning, vendor communication, and shipping coordination in a hands-on manufacturing environment. This position plays an important role in helping ensure materials, purchased parts, consumables, supplies, and finished goods are ordered, tracked, received, and shipped accurately and on time.
The Purchasing and Planning Specialist works closely with production, sales, parts and service, shipping and receiving, finance, vendors, and carriers to support daily business needs. This role is a good fit for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable following through on open items, and able to keep multiple priorities moving in a small company environment.

Strong customer service mindset when supporting internal departments and external vendors

Experience working with vendors, purchase orders, inventory records, or shipping documentation

Strong organization, follow-through, attention to detail, and communication skills

Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office

3 year(s): Experience in purchasing, inventory, materials planning, shipping coordination, or a similar role.

Experience supporting inventory audits, cycle counts, freight coordination, vendor pricing, or supplier follow-up

Experience in a manufacturing, production, OEM, or equipment-related environment

Experience with Global Shop or a similar ERP/MRP system
