Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving issues across a variety of vehicle types. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, and brake repairs.
- Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and diesel engines.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues using schematics and automotive diagnostics tools.
- Repair or replace transmissions, suspension systems, shocks & struts, and alignment components.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle’s needs and repairs performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies including Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and other dealership-specific practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with air brake systems, alignment procedures, suspension repairs, and tire services.
- Experience with GM vehicles is a plus; knowledge of auto body repair is beneficial.
- Ability to read schematics and perform automotive diagnostics effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
