The ideal candidate is someone who is a team player, passionate about educating children, a strong role model for the Christian faith, has strong classroom management skills, is well-acquainted with biblical scripture and adept at teaching children to apply Christian principles to real-life situations. Candidates must have a minimum of three years classroom experience in a credentialed public or private setting.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans.
Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities and standards.
Prepare classroom for class activities by
providing a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs
use relevant technology to support instruction.
Observe and evaluate student's performance and development, as well as assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments.
Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students by maintaining accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures to maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
Perform certain duties including prayer, student support, student counseling, providing student encouragement.
Participate in extracurricular activities including school performances, special events,
school meetings, and parent meetings.
Communicate necessary information regularly to students, administration and parents regarding student progress and student needs
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree, CDA or higher for Lead Positions, 1 year minimum experience for Assistant Teachers.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
