We are a private housing agency that supports adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently and purposefully as possible. Each resident has a team of support in place that helps them thrive in their home, at work, and socially in the community.
We are currently looking for an assistant to work 10 hours per week alongside the full time house manager in one of our Cambridge houses. It’s a convenient location if you take public transportation.
We are looking for an individual who wants to have fun while spending time with the house members at home and in the community. During your shift, you’ll help cook and serve dinner for 10 residents, accompany residents to medical appointments as needed, take walks with residents and run errands with them. We are looking for someone who is engaging and can work independently, while also being able to have tasks deligated to them by the house manager.
**The assistant manager position is for 10 hours a week** Two shifts Monday-Friday with the hours being 3-8pm. Some flexibility preferred.
- Occasional weekday 12-8pm coverage when the house manager needs a day off.
- Occasional opportunities for picking up weekend shifts as well, but not required.
Rate is between $22-$23 per hour.
