High-Level:
We are looking for a project manager to manage our Kitchen & Bath remodeling projects. Details about the job include:
- Located in Bally, PA and drive time within 1 hour of location.
- $75,000-$85,000 per year. Salaried.
- Company vehicle and gas card and laptop.
- 18 days PTO per year.
What you’ll be doing
- Being the main point of contact for customers from post-sale to completion.
- Managing the profitability of jobs by ensuring that jobs are completed on time, allocated to the right technician vs. sub-contractor, and completed with minimal punchlist items.
- Managing the job schedule for our crews and sub-contractors.
- Prepping jobs by delivering materials to the site and ensuring that technicians get materials as fast as possible if unexpected issues arise.
- Collecting chargesheets from technicians and prepping jobs to be billed out by ensuring time and materials are accurate.
- Being the people manager for our in-house technicians and dealing with any issues (call-outs, conflict between employees, etc.)
What you will NOT be doing:
- Ordering equipment & upfront materials. This is the job of sales when they finish selling the job.
- You will not be selling jobs. We have salesmen already.
- You will not be actively installing/working on jobs. You will have to help with material delivery and material removal from job sites but you aren’t expected to work on a job.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in Kitchen/Bath remodeling. You should be very comfortable with carpentry, plumbing, and electric.
- Comfortable with using a computer and using Google Sheets. You don’t have to be a tech wizard but you should understand how to create a spreadsheet and do basic edits on it.
- Proficient knowledge of material ordering. You should be comfortable creating purchase orders, understanding how to size tile/cabinets, and how to navigate dealing with suppliers.
- Ability to lift large materials from the ground into a truck and carry materials from the job site to the dumpster/truck.
- Accurate at estimating how long tasks will take and how to adjust schedules accordingly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to handle unexpected challenges during remodeling projects.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interactions and collaboration with team members.
- Passion for your craft and the desire to be a part of a company that wants to be the best home services provider in the state.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in construction, remodeling, or related field is preferred.
We may not be a fit if:
- You struggle with computers/technology.
- You struggle with following systems and procedures. We believe in simple, repeatable systems that allow us to reduce mistakes and ensure alignment between everyone in the company.
- You prefer a laid-back and relaxed atmosphere. We have high standards and ambitious goals and we move with urgency.
- You are accustomed to a large corporate environment. We are a small, locally owned company that believes in rolling up our sleeves, putting our ego aside, and getting the work done.
