Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bar Manager to lead our vibrant bar operations and create memorable experiences for our guests. Duties
- Lead and supervise all bar staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Oversee beverage service to maintain quality standards and consistency across all offerings.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Operate Toast POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales tracking.
- Coordinate with kitchen management for seamless integration of food production with bar service during busy hours or special events.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business.
- Supervise shift management activities including opening/closing procedures, cash reconciliation, and safety protocols.
- Assist in budgeting efforts by controlling costs related to beverage supplies while maximizing revenue opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant or bar management with supervising responsibilities in a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining environment.
- Strong background in bartending and managing others.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, interviewing, team management, and development initiatives.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices essential for maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Previous experience managing inventory control, budgeting, shift operations, and restaurant management functions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
