Seeking All Purpose Driver
Four Seasons Healthcare Solutions is seeking a driver to operate vehicles, transport passengers and medical supplies for our company. As a driver, you must have a safe driving record and follow all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations. In this position, you will follow prearranged routes to destinations or use maps and GPS to navigate routes. You will also maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness.
Driver Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Strong focus on customer service with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner to facilitate effective communication and follow oral and written instructions.
- Must be willing to cooperate and coordinate with supervisors, family members, fellow employees, and other department heads.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
- Must be able to relate to and work with patients of all ages and disabilities.
- Demonstrate safe driving practices and be able to follow verbal directions, read maps, follow GPS.
- Able to work well alone and with others when necessary.
- Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties.
- Organized and able to follow a schedule and adapt to changing schedules or routines.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Able to assist passengers when needed.
- Proficient in email communications.
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during daily routine.
- Previous professional driving experience preferred; training will be provided.
- Perform vehicle maintenance as necessary; fill gas tank, replace oil, perform general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safety, clean windows, windshields, and mirrors as needed.
- Keep interior of vehicle clean from debris and clutter.
- Perform other duties as required.
Education and Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
- Must be legally allowed to work in New York State.
- Possess a valid NYS driver’s license with a clean driving record.
