1.Perform visual, odor, and taste tests to become knowledgeable regarding raw materials and finished products.
2. Prepare materials and products for laboratory sensory evaluation.
3. Learn sensory, physical, chemical, or instrumental evaluation methods.
4. Retrieve standards and generate worksheets.
5. Maintain clean & safe lab equipment and environment.
6. Perform GC, wet chemistry, IR, L.A.B colorimeter, SG, RI, OR, Particle size testing, and other instrumentation testing as needed.
7. Submit evaluation results to respective areas involved.
8. Follows all quality, safety, and company protocols & procedures.
9. Provide extensions for inventory products, including finished goods and raw materials.
10. Benchtop compounding with recipe, BOMs, and batch adjustments.
11. May perform other duties as required by the Department.
