Permit-to-Work (PTW) and Field Risk Control
Lead/review permits for hot work, working at height, confined space, lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical work (NFPA 70E), lifting/rigging and heavy moves, chemical/toxic/pyrophoric gases, and SIMOPs (simultaneous operations).
Conduct daily walkthroughs and JHA/JSA risk assessments; support after-hours/holiday critical tasks on site or remotely as needed.
Pre-Task / Pre-Start EHS Design Reviews
Review equipment introduction and hook-up scope, including exhaust/abatement, wastewater, chemical and specialty gas systems (e.g., scrubbers, CDA, vacuum).
Own On-site Management of Change to prevent design gaps that drive rework, coordinate with customer ISEP/ERC and Lam EHS team.
Contractor Management and Site Access Control
Verify supplier EHS capability, training, and tool/equipment compliance; reinforce Stop-Work Authority culture and perform routine audits.
Incident Notification, Investigation, and Corrective Actions
Initiate immediate response, lead root-cause analysis (5-Why), and drive CAPA closure; capture and act on near misses (behavioral and systemic prevention).
Training and Culture
Deliver new-hire/contractor EHS onboarding, toolbox talks, and focused campaigns (LOTO, NFPA 70E); promote Behavior-Based Safety.
Metrics and Governance
Define and track leading/lagging indicators through Lam EHS systems that support on-time, zero-rework project KPIs.
Audits and Customer Requirements
Generate and review site EHS reports on a regular cadence; update site status and present risk‑based solutions/mitigations to the Site Lead and Field Service Managers. Consolidate customer audit outcomes and upcoming activities to proactively address emerging risks.
Follow customer 6S and Lam requests to perform Lam internal onsite audit. Prepare for and host customer audits; gather objective evidence.
