Job Summary
The food services candidate should have a basic knowledge of food preparation. On-the-job training by experience cooks will be provided.
Responsibilities and Duties

Requirements: Basic cooking of easy meals. Home cooking experience is sufficient to quality for the position. Other kitchen personnel are on staff to assist in food preparation.

The primary duty for this position would be to prepare the evening meal for assisted living residents. Homestyle cooking is the preferred method of preparation.

Meals are an important part of making a homelike environment for our residents. Meals are not only for nourishment, but also an important time for the residents to socialize and interact with their peers.
Qualifications and Skills

Candidate must be able to follow a recipe, work well with others in a close environment, be able to stand for long periods.

Candidate must also be compassionate and interact well with the elderly.
