About Us
DMV Restorations, Inc. is a restoration, remodeling, and renovation company serving Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. We take pride in delivering quality work on time and on budget — and we're looking for a hands-on leader to keep our field team running at that standard every day.
About the Role
As Field Supervisor, you'll be the go-to leader for all field technicians and subcontractors across our active job sites. You'll own field accountability — job profitability, work order documentation, time tracking, professionalism, and vehicle standards — and serve as the direct link between our field team and operations leadership. When issues come up in the field, you're the one who resolves them.
This is a road-and-boots role: you'll spend your days visiting job sites across VA, MD, and DC, coaching your team, keeping jobs on schedule, and making sure every job is completed to company standards and fully documented.
What You'll Do
- Drive job profitability: Monitor gross profit margins on active and completed jobs, catch cost overruns and unapproved labor hours early, and work with coordinators and estimators to keep scope aligned in the field
- Own documentation & compliance: Ensure work orders are closed with detailed notes and a minimum of 15 job-site photos (pre-, during-, and post-work); audit work orders in Service Fusion and coach the team on documentation standards
- Manage time tracking & payroll support: Oversee daily clock-in/clock-out compliance in Service Fusion, review and approve timesheets daily, flag unapproved overtime, and submit timesheets to payroll on time every pay period; serve as first point of contact for field payroll questions
- Resolve field issues: Be the resolution point for technician and subcontractor issues — site access problems, interpersonal conflicts, safety concerns, and job-site disputes — with real-time support that keeps jobs moving
- Monitor productivity: Track daily technician productivity against scheduled timelines, identify performance gaps, and report trends to operations leadership
- Enforce standards: Uphold uniform and professional appearance policies, and keep company vehicles clean, organized, and current on inspections
- Support hiring & onboarding: Interview field candidates, coordinate with HR on staffing needs, ensure all pre-employment paperwork (agreements, W-4/W-9, I-9, insurance certificates, licenses) is complete before day one
- Train & lead: Onboard new techs and subs on our code of conduct, safety protocols, and Service Fusion; conduct field refreshers and model company values in every client-facing interaction
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of experience supervising field technicians or subcontractors in restoration, construction, or the trades (preferred)
- Working knowledge of Service Fusion or similar field service management software, including time tracking and work order documentation
- Understanding of gross profit margins, job costing, and labor cost management
- Experience with timesheet review, overtime monitoring, and payroll support processes
- Ability to read and interpret scopes of work and job documentation
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- A coaching mindset — someone who develops people, not just corrects them
- Dependable, decisive, organized, and hands-on
- Effective written and verbal communication in English; Spanish a plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required)
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
