Position Overview:
We are seeking a loving, patient, and energetic Pre-K3 teacher to lead and care for our youngest learners in a structured, Christ-centered classroom environment. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, a nurturing spirit, and a passion for early childhood education. This role requires someone who can confidently guide young children through routines, social development, foundational academics, and hands-on learning experiences while creating a safe and joyful classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a structured, nurturing classroom environment for Pre-K3 students
Establish and consistently reinforce daily routines, expectations, and positive behavior
Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that support early childhood development
Teach foundational academic, social, and motor skills through engaging, hands-on learning
Integrate biblical principles and Christian values into daily classroom instruction and interactions
Foster a positive, Christ-centered environment where children feel loved, safe, and encouraged
Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and classroom activities
Collaborate with staff to support school-wide goals and student success
Qualifications:
Prior experience working with preschool or early childhood students preferred
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Patient, nurturing, and confident leadership style
Ability to maintain structure while creating a warm and engaging classroom environment
Familiarity with or willingness to learn the Abeka curriculum
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
