Job Summary
Dunc Pro Security is a localized security provider based in Portland, Oregon. We are seeking disciplined, highly vigilant, and professional Security Officers to join our team. This position involves executing dedicated static and mobile patrol routes across multiple client sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Active Patrols & Static Coverage: Conduct thorough physical patrols and static observations to deter and detect trespassing, loitering, vandalism, and property hazards.
- Real-Time Reporting: Utilize the THERMS security operations platform to log hourly activities, update live tracking status codes (In-Route, Arrive, Surveillance, Clear), and submit detailed incident logs.
- De-escalation & Conflict Management: Act as the primary authority on-site to handle public interactions, manage property-level conflicts, and safely detect/manage hazards like drug paraphernalia with professional composure.
- Strict Communication Protocols: Maintain crisp field coordination by adhering to strict radio etiquette and following the chain of command.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to active dispatch alarms or incidents. Coordinate directly with local law enforcement, fire, and EMS when necessary, securing the scene and tracking incident numbers.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- DPSST Certification: Must hold a current, valid Oregon DPSST private security certification. Armed-certified candidates are highly preferred
- Technical Aptitude: Comfort using mobile workforce applications (Connecteam for scheduling/time-tracking and THERMS for daily reporting) is required.
- Conflict De-escalation: Proven experience utilizing verbal judo or tactical de-escalation techniques in high-stress urban environments.
- Solid Documentation Skills: Ability to write clear, structured, and objective incident summaries (documenting involved parties, vehicles, suspects, and chronological timelines) for client and management review.
- Background Check: Must clear standard private security industry background checks and maintain compliance with state regulatory requirements.
- Prior military, law enforcement, or advanced private security experience is a significant plus.
