PART-TIME YOUTH MENTOR ESSENTIAL DUTIES: WILL TRAIN, no previous experience necessary.

Monitor/supervise students

Follow daily program schedule - keep students on task

Co-facilitate group classes
-
Co-facilitate activities
-
Monitor and secure building/grounds
-
Complete safety checks
- Perform other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR YOUTH MENTOR:

20 Years of age or older
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Valid Driver's License & reliable transportation

Pass a Criminal Background Check through the Utah Department of Public Safety's Bureau of Criminal Identification
REQUIREMENTS IF HIRED AS YOUTH MENTOR:

Food Handler's Permit
-
CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire (provided)

Attend pre-service and annual trainings, as required

Youth Mentors provide supervision, advocacy, intensive skills development instruction, and monitoring for students with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive struggles.
