What is the job like?
We are searching for a passionate preschool teacher or daycare teacher to complement our existing team of 20 educators. Working closely with your co-teachers, you'll help create a safe, comfortable, fun, and nurturing classroom environment.
At Happy Child, we believe in letting kids be kids—exploring, getting messy, discovering, and developing a lifelong love of learning. As a preschool teacher and daycare teacher, you'll inspire children to learn through play, build strong relationships with families, and help ensure every child's needs are met. Whether your background is in daycare, preschool, or another early childhood program, we'd love to hear from you.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or other group childcare setting is a MUST.
- EEC Certification is a plus, or being ready to get certified.
- Early Childhood degree is a plus.
- Knowledge of child development, curriculum planning, developmental behavior, and NAEYC standards is highly valued.
- You should enjoy working as part of a team and have the energy, drive, and enthusiasm to keep up with young children in a daycare and preschool environment.
