We currently have day shift position open.
POSITION: LAUNDRY WORKER
POSITION SUMMARY
Dirty clothing: Open bundles of clothing turned in by Cadet, find ticket and compare items in bag to those on ticket. Adjust any wrong counts. Quick visually check clothing for tears, stains or other damage. Apply a ticket to all items. Sort into carts by type of clothing.
Clean clothing: Hang or fold clothing item as needed. Assemble bundles using attached ticket. Any missing items, inform your Work Leader. Wrap bundles in plastic for delivery, sorting into carts by company.
Maintaining work areas and equipment in clean orderly condition.
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to read and write English.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, lift and be on your feet all day.
Past laundry experience a plus.
Customer service experience a plus.
Position requires pre-employment:
