Duties
- Lead and supervise retail staff, providing coaching, training, and development to foster a high-performing team.
- Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management.
- Manage inventory levels through effective stock control, purchasing, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional displays to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving complaints efficiently, and maintaining positive customer relations.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and assist in budgeting to meet or exceed sales targets.
Skills
- Proven management experience within the retail industry with strong leadership capabilities.
- Proficient in POS systems, inventory management software, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash handling procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively across operations management tasks such as merchandising, stocking, pricing, and inventory control.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising retail sales teams with expertise in retail math including basic math calculations for pricing and budgeting.
- Knowledge of retail industry standards including customer service excellence, phone etiquette, operational management, and store management best practices.
