We are now interviewing our new team members. Tulum will be featuring modern Mexican cuisine, chef driven with an emphasis on great food, cocktails and fun costal environment.
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cooks to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and presenting meals that meet our restaurant's standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and contributing to an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and catering to dietary needs.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards throughout the cooking process.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or culinary roles, preferably in fine dining or catering environments.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that exceed guest expectations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
