Job Overview
We are seeking an Academic Success Coach with a strong mathematics background to join our educational team. This role is equal parts instructor and mentor — you'll work alongside students to assess where they are mathematically, build real skills, and help them set and pursue meaningful academic goals. You'll collaborate closely with our reading support staff, behavioral health team (BHTs), and the Director of Education to ensure every student has a unified, coherent growth plan.
This is not a traditional classroom role. Our students often carry significant academic gaps alongside complex life circumstances. The right candidate leads with relationship, meets students without judgment, and makes math feel like something that belongs to them — not something being done to them.

- Participate in team meetings, IEP/ESA planning processes, and student staffings as needed

- Contribute to a school culture of high expectations delivered with compassion

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and manage multiple student caseloads.
- Compassionate, patient, and student-centered approach with a passion for motivating and empowering learners.
