This is part-time position: 15 hours/week, 40 weeks per year (no summers) starting on Sept. 1, 2026
Position Description
This position exists to assist the Gallery Director and Exhibitions & Marketing Manager in all phases of gallery operation, primarily by providing administrative and front desk support, but also through active participation in installing exhibitions and assisting with special events, marketing, and visitor relations.
Job Duties
- Provide front desk support, greet visitors

Oversee and troubleshoot technology and media in the gallery when included in exhibitions

Assist in exhibition preparatory, installation and de-installation activities

Maintain gallery mailing lists

Regularly check gallery email & voicemail appropriately and accurately respond to inquiries regarding exhibits and programs

Assist with event/reception planning

Assist with archiving exhibition information and materials as needed

Assist with work study scheduling and management

Assist with maintaining storage area and supplies

Provide general office and clerical support

Assist with arrangements and communication with various Sage offices and personnel
The estimated wage is $17.47 per hour for 15 hours per week for 40 weeks.
Job Requirements:

Experience with gallery and exhibition operations

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Close attention to detail

Ability to carry out projects with minimal supervision

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Experience with digital imaging software highly desired

Flexibility in work hours and tasks
