As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you'll work alongside experienced Manufacturing Engineers on real-world projects, supporting manufacturing process improvements, designing tooling and fixtures, assisting production operations, and gaining practical experience that extends well beyond the classroom.

What You'll Do
- Assist Manufacturing Engineers with manufacturing process improvements and day-to-day production support
- Create and revise CAD models, tooling designs, and fixture drawings using SolidWorks
- Update production routers, work instructions, process documentation, and engineering drawings
- Support troubleshooting efforts for manufacturing, assembly, and quality issues
- Assist with the design, build, and implementation of machining and test fixtures
- Purchase fixture hardware and coordinate with vendors as needed
- Support production personnel with the implementation and use of new fixtures and manufacturing processes
- Generate and process engineering change documentation
- Support continuous improvement projects across manufacturing operations
- Complete other engineering-related assignments as needed
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and bills of material
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to work in both office and manufacturing environments
- Comfortable collaborating with engineering, production, quality, and other cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Exposure to manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, welding, additive manufacturing, heat treating, coatings, casting, or inspection is a plus
- Completed coursework in core engineering subjects such as Statics & Dynamics, Strength of Materials, Fluid Dynamics, Mechanical Design, or similar engineering coursework preferred
- Familiarity with CNC programming, CMM programming, LabVIEW, or Microsoft Project is beneficial but not required
