We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused Loan Officer to join our amazing team! The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience, hold an active license, and be eager to grow with us. We provide robust marketing support, a dedicated loan officer assistant, and a stunning office located in beautiful Westlake Village. This position offers the flexibility of hybrid or remote work. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate loan applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans
- Ensure compliance with lending regulations such as Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and other regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure smooth loan processing - Negotiate terms and conditions of loans with clients
Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Loan Officer for 2+ years (required)
- Strong understanding of basic math principles and financial concepts
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively - Knowledge of loan origination software and underwriting procedures
- Familiarity with Calyx Point (preferred)
- Ability to negotiate terms and conditions effectively
- MUST be licensed
