Job Summary:
ShankerValleau is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented individual to manage and execute the firm’s day-to-day operational functions. Prior experience in business operations, administration, or office management is required.
Responsibilities:
· Manage the firm’s technology platforms and vendor relationships to ensure reliable day-to-day operations.
· Coordinate ongoing communication with external IT providers, helping resolve issues and support system improvements.
· Maintain and update internal operating procedures to promote consistency, efficiency, and accountability across the firm.
· Administer key operational functions, including payroll, employee onboarding, and benefit program maintenance.
· Process vendor payments and support bookkeeping activities.
· Support firm leadership with meeting preparation, internal events, scheduling, and special projects.
· Tax season support, including collection of client tax data, coordinating tax portal processes, and tracking tax return status.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited four-year university.
· Prior experience in business operations, administration, or office management is required; QuickBooks experience preferred.
· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Demonstrated interest in learning, professional growth, and personal finance.
· Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to quality, accuracy, and confidentiality.
