FULL-TIME Clinical Assistant to join our growing Neurology practice. The Clinical Assistant is primarily responsible for efficient patient flow by keeping exam rooms full and assisting providers as needed in order to expedite patient care. This is a face-paced specialty office and you will need to work efficiently. Other duties include (but not limited to):
- Obtain patient vitals; height, weight, Manual BP, temperature, etc.
- Update electronic medical records (Athena) with patient vitals; reconcile medication list; and any pertinent information for the visit.
- Conduct MMSE and MoCA on qualifying patients.
- Assure exam rooms are clean and adequately stocked with appropriate supplies.
- Monitor lab and diagnostic test results, request when needed.
- Answer patient emails/phone calls, document and return in a timely manner.
- Setup for injection procedures (Botox and Xeomin).
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREEN.
Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday 8AM to 5PM; Friday 8AM to 3PM; NO WEEKENDS.
