To Ivy Advance is seeking an experienced and results-oriented NYS Chemistry Regents Teacher to teach high school students preparing for the New York State Chemistry Regents Examination.
Students in the same class may attend different high schools, follow different curricula, and progress through Chemistry topics at different rates. The successful candidate must be able to identify these differences, establish a coherent instructional sequence, and support students at different stages without reducing the rigor or effectiveness of the class.
This position requires strong content knowledge, structured classroom management, evidence-based instruction, and consistent compliance with company academic and operational protocols.
Primary Responsibilities
· Teach NYS Chemistry Regents content accurately and systematically.
· Develop and deliver lessons aligned with the current New York State Chemistry learning standards and Regents examination expectations.
· Prepare students for both course success and the Chemistry Regents Examination.

· Reconcile differences among students coming from different high schools and create an instructional plan that allows all students to progress effectively within the same classroom.
· Differentiate instruction while maintaining appropriate academic rigor.
· Teach students how to approach Regents-style multiple-choice, constructed-response, calculation, laboratory concepts, experimental reasoning, graphing, and data interpretation.
· Administer diagnostic assessments, quizzes, unit assessments, mock Regents examinations, and other progress checks.
· Analyze assessment data and adjust instruction based on demonstrated student needs.
· Provide timely, specific, and actionable feedback to students.
· Assign and review appropriate classwork, homework, and exam-preparation materials.
· Maintain accurate attendance, lesson, homework, assessment, and student-progress records.
· Communicate significant academic concerns or student-performance issues to the designated academic supervisor in a timely manner.
· Use approved digital platforms for instruction, assignments, communication, assessment, and recordkeeping.
· Follow the company’s curriculum requirements, teaching standards, attendance procedures, communication protocols, student-safety policies, and administrative rules.
· Attend required onboarding, training, curriculum meetings, and performance-review meetings.
· Protect student privacy and maintain professional boundaries in all communications.
· Coordinate with academic management when curriculum pacing, student placement, or intervention needs require adjustment.
