Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks.
**MUST have your own reliable vehicle to and from the buildings (the bus/rides are not an option).
**MUST have a cell phone for communications from office.
- 6 pm start and off between 11:30 pm & 12:30 am (sometimes may be 1:30 am).
- Work in teams, never alone!
- No Weekends
- Weekly Pay!
- Paid Holidays (available to use after 90 days)
- 1 hour of PTO earned for every 40 hours worked (available to use after 90 days)
- IRA and IRA Contributions (optional benefit after 90 days)
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct cleaning duties such as dusting, polishing, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergencies to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all building occupants.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness standards across all facilities.
Qualifications
- Must have a car to get to and from the buildings. *The bus or rides does not work for this position as you will be working after bus lines are closed and you will need to move from building to building at work.
- Must have a cell phone to communicate with office and other staff/teams.
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with commerical cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting or moving items.
