We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tow Truck Operator to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery approach.
- Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide roadside assistance services including jump-starts, tire changes, lockouts, and fuel delivery.
- Manage conflict situations professionally with customers or other stakeholders, ensuring positive resolutions.
- Maintain detailed logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and service activities for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- Ensure all tow truck operations comply with local traffic laws and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience operating tow trucks or similar commercial driving equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive systems is highly desirable.
- Prior mechanic experience or working knowledge of automotive repair processes is a plus.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Experience handling conflict management situations calmly and effectively.
- Ability to load, unload, and secure vehicles safely using appropriate tools such as forklifts or specialized equipment. Pay: $800.00 - $1,800.00 per week
