JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Social Media Content Designer designs a wide variety of assets, working across digital design, video editing, digital photography, and videography for social media marketing and digital advertising platforms. This position plays a key role in designing content and copy that capture the brand while attracting our target audiences to the appropriate call-to-action, ultimately converting each CTA into a website click and/or an on-property visit.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
- Develop, capture, and create high-quality, brand-aligned, platform-specific content and copy. This includes, but is not limited to, photos, short and long form videos, motion graphics, GIFs, templates, written copy, and web links.
- Own end-to-end content production, from ideation and storyboarding to scouting, shooting, editing, and post-production.
- Collaborate with internal clients and external agencies to develop creative content that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
- Participate in the development and implementation of emerging trends, new storytelling techniques, and advanced editing styles to consistently push creative boundaries.
- Maintain strong knowledge of how to operate, troubleshoot, and properly care for equipment, including smartphones, cameras, lighting, Mac and PC computers, and all related accessories.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-standard digital and design tools.
- Maintain advanced knowledge and best practices of emerging and current Social Media platforms, including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and Snapchat.
- Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager to assist with planning and maintaining the content and live coverage calendar.
- Assist with scheduling content and posting live coverage to all ACC’s social media profiles, including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and Snapchat.
- Attend events, entertainment, activations, promotions, and marketing initiatives as assigned to support content capture and live coverage.
- Ensure all published content complies with usage rights and copyright laws, and/or obtain the necessary permissions for use.
- Ensure all published content is accurate, aligns with brand and campaign guidelines, and complies with ACBCI marketing and regulatory standards.
- Update the content library with footage, deliverables, and assets and maintain organizational consistency to ensure ease of access for future use.
Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 4 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing for brands or agencies, ideally within the lifestyle or hospitality industry.
- Strong background in photo and video production, including editing, lighting, sound, and composition.
- Professional knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Proficient in managing content across major platforms, including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and Snapchat.
- Solid understanding of visual storytelling, design principles, and brand consistency.
- Experience using social media management tools and workflow software.
- Advanced knowledge of both mobile and professional camera equipment.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Strong communicator and collaborator.
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality of work.
- Passionate about social media trends and creating engaging, results-driven content.
Willingness and ability to travel for content production as needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move, and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1½ miles, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/workstation for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. of equipment and materials on an intermittent basis.
The individual must also be comfortable working in a smoke-filled environment and able to respond to the demands of a dynamic casino setting. Work is performed in both office and on-property locations with moderate to high noise levels depending on proximity to gaming areas. Dexterity of hands and fingers is required for use of computers, cameras, and general office equipment.
