The Accounts Payable & Receivable Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of vendor and customer account reconciliations. This role will reconcile vendor statements, customer statements, credit card transactions, and accounting records between our ERP system and accounting software.
Duties and responsibilities
- Reconcile vendor statements and invoices to company records.
- Reconcile customer statements and account balances to the ERP system.
- Review and reconcile corporate credit card statements and supporting documentation.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between vendor invoices, purchase receipts, purchase orders, and accounting records.
- Assist with maintaining accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical accounting files as required.
- Support the accounting team with additional administrative and accounting tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Minimum 5 years' experience in AP
- Understanding of Purchase Order (PO), Purchase Receipt (PR), and Invoice reconciliation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Quickbooks
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Adaptable to changing processes, systems, and technologies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
