Mt. Macrina Manor, a faith-based skilled nursing facility, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to oversee the daily financial and administrative operations of the facility's business office.
The Business Office Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate resident financial records, managing billing and collections, coordinating insurance and Medicaid processes, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. This position works closely with the Administrator, residents and families, clinical staff, and outside agencies.

Oversee the daytoday operations of the Business Office.

Manage resident accounts, billing, payments, refunds, and account reconciliation.

Coordinate Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, private insurance, and privatepay billing.

Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.

Assist residents and families with financial questions, billing concerns, and payment arrangements.

Coordinate Medicaid applications, renewals, verifications, and required documentation.

Verify insurance coverage and maintain accurate payer information.

Maintain accurate resident financial records and ensure appropriate documentation.

Process admissions, discharges, transfers, and changes in payer status from a financial perspective.

Work with the facility's billing vendors and outside agencies as necessary.

Prepare and maintain financial reports and other businessoffice records.

Monitor resident trust accounts and ensure accurate accounting and documentation.

Assist with audits and provide requested documentation to regulatory agencies and other authorized reviewers.

Work collaboratively with the Administrator, Director of Nursing, Social Services, Admissions, and other departments.

Previous 23 years business office experience in a skilled nursing facility, is required.

Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and privatepay

Knowledge of longterm care accounts receivable and resident financial processes.

Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience with PointClickCare or another longterm care software system is preferred.
