R.F. Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager, to join our team in our Bethalto, IL office.

For over 36 years, R.F. Technologies, Inc. has been one of the largest independent retailers of wireless drive-thru, surveillance, and audio equipment within the United States. With multiple strategically located service centers, RFT supports the QSR Industry (Quick Service Restaurants, i.e. McDonald's, Burger King, etc.) with installation, break-fix, and other field related services. We are experiencing massive growth within our business and we are in need of a Project Manager to join our team.
Purpose of Position:
Project Manager for the Field Service Department, under the guidance of the Field Operations Manager, is responsible for managing national service calls/installs, providing technical support to national technicians, and providing Level 2 support to properly diagnose issues indicated in national service call requests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Management:
· Publish installations and service calls to various job boards and or communicate
directly with approved service providers.
· Vett and assign national (3rd party) technicians to installations and service calls.
· Coordinates scheduling with national technicians and customers.
· Communicates with national technicians during the check in/check out process.
· Provides technical support to national technicians during service calls.
· Confirms / approves all photos and work completed by technicians before releasing technicians.
· Provide estimates and technical assistance to customers when required.
· Put in requests for orders, field work, generates quotes and answers order related questions when posed by internal RFT staff.
· Address customer concerns/questions in a timely manner.
· LEVEL 2 SUPPORT: Provide additional troubleshooting with customers when new
service call requests are submitted by Level 1 phone technicians. Based on current issues and site history, determine the full scope of possible issues to ensure the site is fixed during the first service call; and additional service calls can be avoided.
Additional Duties:
· Monitors shipping status and tracking for installations and service calls to ensure material arrives before onsite technicians.
· Monitors customer approvals for installations and service calls.
· Identifies/reports any issues to the Field Operations Manager that would delay
shipment of required material in a timely manner.
· Will be on the on-call rotation for afterhours phone calls
· Perform local field work when needed
· Other administrative responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
