American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, Epic proficiency, and the ability to pass a mandatory EKG exam during onboarding.

Hospital-based Med/Surg Tele unit with a primarily Medical/Surgical patient population
-
Patient population includes observation, respiratory, general med/surg, palliative, end-of-life, hospice, psychiatric observation, diabetic, and surgical patients

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Every other weekend required; holiday coverage as needed

Floating required across all health system facilities if needed

Epic EMR — experience is mandatory

Active NC or Compact RN license required

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Valid driver's license required for consideration

Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding — two attempts are allowed; candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility

Prior Charge RN experience is preferred
