Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: Adams, North Adams, Clarksburg, Pittsfield, Williamstown, & West Stockbridge, MA
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time | All Shifts Available
Contract: 13 Weeks with Strong Potential for Extension
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with disabilities in a group home setting. This hands-on role involves assisting with personal care, activities of daily living, meal preparation, household tasks, and community engagement while promoting independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, hygiene, and toileting

Support activities of daily living (ADLs)

Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed

Perform routine housekeeping and maintain a safe living environment

Encourage independence and support individual goals

Assist with community outings and recreational activities

Follow care plans and complete required documentation
Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old

Reliable transportation required

High school diploma/GED or at least one year of relevant experience

Comfortable providing direct personal care and toileting assistance
