Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Unit Director to oversee critical facility operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of facilities management, including both low and high voltage systems, generations systems, data centers, and general facility operations. This role requires effective project management abilities and the capacity to manage teams while ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. Hospitality and customer service is needed with a white glove approach.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the unit, ensuring all activities align with organizational goals.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to foster a productive work environment.
- Implement and oversee maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track equipment performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment utilizing tools and assess operational integrity.
- Develop project plans for facility upgrades or repairs, managing timelines and resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to both low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless operations across the organization.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, staff performance, and project progress.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, data centers, critical equipment and emergency procedures with maintaining 100% uptime.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication across all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also managing individual responsibilities effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on safety and efficiency in all operations.
- Ability to manage multiple small facilities remotely.
- Remote facility coverage as needed.
- A professional appearance at all times for interaction with executives.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
