WHKS is expanding and is actively hiring a Civil Engineer to join its team in Mason City, IA.
In this role, you will support municipal utility, drainage, roadway, and site design projects while assisting with a variety of engineering tasks for WHKS. You will collaborate with engineers and technicians in a team-oriented environment to deliver solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with engineers and technicians on a variety of challenging engineering tasks
in a collaborative team environment
- Perform project management duties, including effective communication with clients to
build strong relationships, review project needs, and secure contracts
- Design and prepare roadway construction documents
- Develop 3D models using Bentley CONNECT or Civil 3D software
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- Iowa P.E. or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 5+ years of civil engineering in municipal or transportation design

Education:
Experience:
- municipal or civil engineering : 5 years (Preferred)
- AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley CONNECT: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:
