Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
- Demonstrate excellent knife skills and food handling techniques during meal preparation
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting preferred
- Strong culinary skills including cooking, food preparation, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards customer service and colleagues
