Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and refinishing using appropriate cleaning equipment and floor care techniques.
- Handle chemical agents safely, including mixing, applying, and disposing of floor cleaning chemicals and other cleaning solutions in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and upholstery maintenance to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Use manual handling techniques to lift, move, and position heavy cleaning equipment or supplies safely.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by dusting, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and emptying trash receptacles across different areas.
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, polishers, vacuum cleaners, and floor scrubbers efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of floor cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during tasks such as moving furniture or large equipment.
- Experience with floor buffing, waxing, refinishing, and carpet cleaning is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service are essential.
- Familiarity with environmental services practices that promote sustainability and safety in cleaning operations.

Pay: $75.00 - $100.00 per day
