I’m an entrepreneur who owns multiple businesses, and I’m looking for one person to become my full-time content creator.
This isn’t a typical videographer position.
I’m looking for someone who can help document my businesses, projects, podcasts, events, and day-to-day life, then turn that content into engaging social media content.
Some days you’ll be filming inside salon suites. Other days you may be capturing content at a construction project, podcast, client business, networking event, or other behind-the-scenes moments. Every day is different.
If you love creating content, enjoy telling stories through video, and want to grow with a fast-moving entrepreneur, this could be an incredible opportunity.
Responsibilities
● Film content throughout the week using professional cameras and mobile devices
● Capture behind-the-scenes footage, day-in-the-life content, interviews, podcasts, projects, events, and business updates
● Edit engaging short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts
● Edit occasional long-form YouTube videos and podcasts
● Capture professional photos when needed
● Create and publish Instagram and Facebook Stories
● Organize and back up all photo and video files
● Stay on top of social media trends and suggest fresh content ideas
● Travel to multiple business locations and job sites throughout the Baton Rouge area
Requirements
We’re not looking for the most experienced person—we’re looking for someone with a strong foundation who’s eager to grow.
You should already be comfortable with:
● Adobe Premiere Pro
● Operating Sony mirrorless cameras such as the Sony A7 IV, Sony FX3, or similar
● Understanding camera settings including shutter speed, frame rate, aperture, ISO, autofocus, and white balance
● Capturing clean audio using wireless microphones
● Basic drone operation (FAA Part 107 certification is a plus but not required)
● Editing high-quality vertical videos for social media
● Managing and organizing large amounts of video footage
● Working independently with minimal supervision
Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
