Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments to equipment, fixtures, and furniture
Conduct regular rounds to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any concerns or issues that may arise
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work completed, materials used, and schedules
Assist with minor renovations, painting, and other cosmetic improvements
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies
Maintenance Assistant Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate or associate's degree in maintenance, facilities management, or related field preferred
1+ year of maintenance experience in a healthcare or senior living setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required)
