Overview
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing payroll, general ledger management, financial reporting, sales & use tax reporting, compliance activities and overseeing A/R and A/P. This role ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, and coordination with internal teams and external partners including banks, payroll and benefits providers and our CPA firm. Hours will be 30-40 hours per week, and pay is based on experience.
Duties and Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
- Payroll processing and benefits administration experience a plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and confidential information
- Able to work independently and research needed information
- Microsoft 365 experience required
