Overview
We are looking for a full or part time line cook with experience with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Must be able to follow our established menu, have a great attention to detail, work well with others and be reliable.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
- Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist in the development of new menu items and special catering requests as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or silmilar establishment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food service industry.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Experience in catering or dietary department settings is a plus but not required.
- A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new cooking techniques.
