Full-time | Multifamily Construction | 233-Unit Ground-Up Project
We’re hiring a Field Engineer to join our team at the start of a 233-unit multifamily project in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in field operations and grow into an Assistant Superintendent role eventually.
You’ll work directly with the Lead Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent and Project Manager to help manage daily field operations, coordination, quality control, and documentation throughout construction.
This is an opportunity to be involved from day one through project completion and gain hands-on experience across all phases of multifamily construction.
Phase 1: Project Startup & Early Construction
You’ll help establish the systems and coordination needed to get the project moving efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Superintendent with daily field operations and coordination
- Maintain project documentation and drawings (plans, specs, RFIs, submittals)
- Support subcontractor coordination and scheduling
- Track and document field progress through Procore
- Assist with quality control inspections
- Coordinate site logistics and deliveries
- Help track RFI responses and field changes
- Assist with site safety compliance and documentation
- Document work progress with daily reports and photos
Phase 2: Active Construction
As the project progresses, you'll take on increasing responsibility in the field.
Responsibilities include:
- Walk the project daily to monitor quality, safety, and progress
- Assist with schedule tracking and coordination
- Coordinate subcontractor work and sequencing
- Support weekly foreman meetings and schedule planning
- Help track deficiencies and corrections
- Maintain organization of drawings, specifications, and field documents
- Interface with vendors, subcontractors, and the project team
- Maintain accurate field records and updates in Procore
Phase 3: Project Closeout & Growth
Responsibilities include:
- Track and manage punch list completion
- Coordinate subcontractors for repairs and corrections
- Assist with project closeout documentation
- Help manage unit turnover and inspections
- Support final owner walkthroughs
What We’re Looking For
- 1–4 years of experience in construction field roles (multifamily preferred)
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate subcontractors and follow through on tasks
- Comfortable being in the field and walking the project daily
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
- Valid driver’s license

Pay: $65,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
