Altogas is looking for a friendly and energetic person to join our Benton Harbor driver team. Our successful candidate must enjoy working mostly outdoors, be able to lift up to 70 pounds, and stay on his/her feet for extended periods of time. This is a CDL Driver propane industry position, and we will train you how to safely operate equipment as you perform the following functions:
Safely load and deliver propane to residential and commercial customers.
Interact with customers as you safely deliver propane to their home storage tanks.
Use handheld computer tablet to create delivery tickets and keep inventory of product on the truck.
Inspect truck and storage tanks on a regular basis.
Perform service to propane systems including installations and updates.
Inspect and refill propane cylinders, recreational vehicles and propane autogas containers.
Assist Altogas staff as needed
Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements are required for this position, but we will train and help you to attain these ratings if you don't have them. Pre-employment drug screen and physicals are required prior to hire. Driver records will be reviewed prior to hiring.
