This upscale memory care community is a one-of-a-kind community for elderly with Dementia or Alzheimer's Disease. This is a 4 days on 2 days off schedule for AM/PM shift. The schedule will be 6:30am - 3pm, 6:30am - 3pm, 1:30pm - 10pm, 1:30pm - 10pm. Then 2 days off and the schedule will cycle again. AM/AM/PM/PM/OFF/OFF/AM/AM/PM/PM/OFF/OFF and so on.
Job Responsibilities of a Resident Concierge:
- Engage in conversation with residents, providing comfort, mental stimulation, and companionship.
- Use redirection and diversion techniques when residents are agitated
- Patient and understanding when residents are slow and/or confused in tasks. Do not rush residents.
- Talk to residents while providing care (i.e. help with meals, face washing, hand massaging).
Job Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- High school degree/GED
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel.
- Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time.
- Must be able to pass a DOJ criminal background check and a physical exam/TB test
- Must have availability to work on weekends and holidays
